Happy 4th Birthday Keara and Easton!!!
I remember my Dad telling me, 'you're growing up too fast,' and wondering what he was talking about. But, now I know. They grow up too fast. Today was Keara and Easton's 4th Birthday and I have no idea how four years could fly by so quickly. They sure have come a long way...
Birthday PARTIES!!
Keara and Easton had so many different birthday celebrations that when the actual day came, they were a little confused as to how it could still be their birthday (not that they complained!).
Over Easter weekend, we celebrated cousin Brody's birthday in Kansas City and then traveled to Clay Center and had Easter and celebrated Keara and Easton's birthday with the Chaffee side.
Arica and Pat had a pinata for Brody and that made Easton's day!!
Here is Braxton exploring on the deck.

Oh, those wonderful family photos!
The five grandkids digging into the gifts from the 'Easter bunny'.
After lunch, because of the weather, we headed over the Mike and Trudy's house for an egg hunt in the basement. In this photo are the on-lookers!!
Here is a second cake that I made.
And, Easton's cake. (it's a sword for those of you who are asking, what is that- YES, he has a fascination with swords, right now we see it as a healthy fascination, but we'll see how fast healthy can go to physco-killer!)

Then the Sunday before their birthday, we celebrated with my side at our house.

Thanksgiving Feast at Preschool
Our group was in charge of mixing together the corn casserole.
We had to take turns stirring!
We played games, and...
sang songs with beanbags :), and...
dressed up like Indians and Pilgrims and enjoyed our food.
Hanging Christmas Lights
Just one of the fun holiday traditions. Luckily, Allen somewhat enjoys it!
Lulu decided to help too and climbed the ladder to the roof.

Keara- Princess Belle, Easton- Spiderman
Easton giving us 'web in the eyes'

Trick or treat! I think Easton probably rang that doorbell about three times!
We could have gone to 100 houses and Keara still would have said, go next house, more candy!
Easton was most excited about his suckers! He dug through one lady's bowl for about a minute straight saying, 'no, want something better' until he came upon a sucker!

Allen as Spiderman. Thank god they don't make that costume for adults!
Me, simply trying to live a dream! Although it is nice not to have an evil step-mother that tries to kill me or locks me in an attic!
