Snow Days

It's only the middle of January and I feel like we have had snow on the ground for months now. Keara and Easton are enjoying it (well, except when it is -15 degrees out).

We have been out sledding- and actually taking turns pulling each other...

making snow angels...

purposely falling in the snow...

drinking hot cocoa...
and, now as the temps are rising a bit, building a snowman.

And, lastly, kissing our snowman good-bye.

Family Portraits

Back at the end of Christmas, I was going to post all of our fun times at everyone's houses and all of the great presents Keara and Easton are playing with, but it is now the middle of January and I am looking back getting a kick out of everyone's family picture- oh, the fun of the holidays!

A try at the three grandkids after Christmas Eve Mass. The presents are just way more exciting and Easton's dry lips got in the way of most family pictures!

Hello Allen!!!

Daniel, Sara, and Kian (being as cooperative as an 18-month-old can be)

Granny and Grandpa with their three grandchildren.

Yes, the only Dolezal family Christmas '08 photo I have...beautiful!

Now, at the Chaffee house, getting five kids three and under to pay attention and look at the camera all at the same time. You have to believe there is a lot of- look, Mommy has a monkey on her head- can you say stinnnky feet- Easton, put your foot down- Brooklyn, stop kissing your brother...etc.

Allen and I and our cooperative children.

This was suppose to be a 'crazy' picture, apparently Allen didn't get that memo, or maybe I was just too crazy!

The Rupp Family- Ann, Kory, Brooklyn and Braxton

The Hayes Family- or, oh wait, just Arica

The Hayes Family- Arica, Pat & Brody

Grandma and Grandpa and the five grandchildren.

And, this is probably the best of the bunch. Taken with a timer on a camera and by some miracle, everyone is looking and mostly smiling.

Thanksgiving Feast at Preschool

Our group was in charge of mixing together the corn casserole.

We had to take turns stirring!

We played games, and...

sang songs with beanbags :), and...

dressed up like Indians and Pilgrims and enjoyed our food.

Hanging Christmas Lights

Just one of the fun holiday traditions. Luckily, Allen somewhat enjoys it!

Lulu decided to help too and climbed the ladder to the roof.

Halloween

Keara- Princess Belle, Easton- Spiderman

Easton giving us 'web in the eyes'

Trick or treat! I think Easton probably rang that doorbell about three times!

We could have gone to 100 houses and Keara still would have said, go next house, more candy!

Easton was most excited about his suckers! He dug through one lady's bowl for about a minute straight saying, 'no, want something better' until he came upon a sucker!

Allen as Spiderman. Thank god they don't make that costume for adults!

Me, simply trying to live a dream! Although it is nice not to have an evil step-mother that tries to kill me or locks me in an attic!
